Human beings want to enjoy the life. Most of them like to be gathered or crowded on the occasion of any event joyful. Their happiness lies in showing their creativity one another in a secret or open space considering the eligibility of focus.
People in ancient time were gathered in an open space to be delighted and recreated on any memorable occasion. This occasion might be a memorable event happened in their life- time or in their ancestor’s life -time or it mitght be a legend prevailing through their nation or society.
Ancient people would celebrate their victory or independence day with immense joy throughout the nation being assembled in a place together. They would assemble in any place to remember the contribution of any national hero or any religious spiritual leader. Moreover, some kings might have celebrated their dearest and nearest one’s birthday or death day to commemorate their memory and asked the people to be gathered in any suitable selected place on that occasion.
Besides, people themselves gathered to celebrate or commemorate any event that they occurred. It may be killing any naughty wild animal like lion, tiger, cheta, or wild man .They celebrated these events as they were rescued from any danger prevailing for years by any wild being. It might be a snake which would bite people for years and was killed one day. The day of killing this snake became memorable to them and they started to celebrate this day to show the gratefulness to Almighty who had rescued them.
Every nation has some national heroes who help them survive in peace and dignity, Any memorable event of those heroes are celebrated by followers in a place or places. It prevailed in past , prevails at present and will prevail in future in no doubt.
This mentioned assembling of the people for any reason is transformed into fairs, festivals or uroshes. Gradually these occasions has become the part and parcel of human beings .
People ,society and economy are closely related to each other. The places of celebration has gradually become the historical places. Every year many visitors now visits these places to learn, earn and enjoy.
A specific date or dates have been fixed from the starting of these fairs. If there is no unavoidable situation, the fairs organized as usual. They may have some extra activities or agenda more than previous time.
These fairs have a great economic value. Traditional things are brought or displayed to the customers for the purpose of sale. The things rare in the general market are taken by producer to sell. Somebody may seek a necessary thing in the market but not find .It may be found in a fair. Food items like kodma, ukhra, murali, chakti aren’t found in general market but they are sold in village fairs at a cheap rate. Like foods many handy-crafts-hand-fan, yoke, plough, leveller,ladder,fish-case,grass-case,rice-fresher,basket,cow-case,mates,ruti-stand , ruti-plate, dhekhi, ghail and ghail-stick are rare in general market but available in fairs. Some fairs are born in divine-incarnation. The people lead these being division into respective shares. They select how much they will be entitled to a share .These share-holder made an effective partnership in written or verbal agreement. The filament of these fairs bring solvency to share-holders.
One may amazed with the sculpture of the places of fairs .These sculptures may be the icon of some wild animals like-lion, tiger, monkey. They may be a bull’s or camel’s hump. They may be achlamydeous portraits of famous persons. Portraits structures are very savoury to see. The opportunity of entrance into the fair is not rigorous or strict or not rude. It’s mild and easy. The beauty of fairs are not unrevealed and visitors are straight-forward and candid.
